 In a role reversal, over 400 theater board members took the stage to be thanked for their energy and commitment at the Orpheum Theatre Monday, April 16. The event was a magnificent opportunity for current board members of the 66 Ivey Awards participating theaters to make new connections and renew old ones. Ivey Awards founder Scott Mayer welcomed the crowd, McKnight Foundation representative Neal Cuthbert offered a toast to board members, and St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman encouraged theater participation. The event was sponsored by UBS Financial Advisor Lois Carlson, Polaroid, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine and City Pages. Guests enjoyed complimentary beverages provided by Level Vodka, Airforce Nutrisoda and Trinchero Wines and enjoyed appetizers provided by Chambers Kitchen. Each guest departed with a lovely ivey plant donated by Bachman's. |
